Spicy Potato
Spicy Aloo is a very simple recipe for potatoes cooked with a generous amount of Indian food spices for plenty of flavor. There are many different variations of spicy potato. Thgis is the simple & easy recipe for you.
 
Ingredients:::
Ingredients

  • Baby potatoes (Boiled and peeled) - ½ Kg
  • 2 tomatoes cut into slices
  • Cumin seeds (jeera) - ½ teaspoon
  • 2 slit green chillies
  • Freshly chopped coriander
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 Tbs oil
  • Red chili powder - 1 teaspoo
  • Turmeric powder - 1 teaspoo
  • Jeera powder - ½ teaspoon
  • Dhaniya powder -½ teaspoon
  • Ground black pepper½ teaspoon
  • Chaat masala - ¼ teaspoon
  • Garam masala - ¼ teaspoon 
Method:::
  1. Heat oil in a pan. When the oil heats up, add whole cumin seeds (jeera) and let them splutter for some seconds. 
  2. Now add the boiled baby potatoes and fry them till they get a little browned on all sides. 
  3. Now add the Magic Masala and some salt into the pan. 
  4. Stir the potatoes well till they get nicely coated with the masala. 
  5. Now add in the sliced tomatoes and stir well to give everything a good mix. 
  6. The tomatoes will gradually start letting out their juices adding a little bit of tanginess to the potatoes. +
  7. Sprinkle in some water to avoid the masala from burning. This shouldn’t be too dry or too runny.
  8. Cover the pan for 2 to 3 minutes on a low flame. 
  9. Add slit green chillies and some freshly chopped coriander leaves to finish.
  10. Serve this with Luchi, Naan or Parathas.
